Fruit Wands - Fun Snacks for Kids - Weelicious

These fruit wands are super easy to make and the kids go crazy for them! Set out all the different fruits and let everyone make their own design!

Ingredients

Green grapes 1 Bunch (100 gm)
Banana 5 , sliced
Watermelon 1 Pound
Strawberries 40 Small
Red grapes 1 Bunch (100 gm)
Cantaloupe 1

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Cut the cantaloupe in half and remove the seeds. Make 40 stars out of the cantaloupe. Set aside.

2. Cut the watermelon in half and, using a melon baller, make 40 balls. Set aside.

MAKING

3. Assemble the fruit wands by gently sliding each piece of fruit onto each skewer in this order: 1 green grape, 1 banana slice, 1 ball of watermelon, 1 red Grape, 1, 1 strawberry , again 1 green grapes and 1 piece of cantaloupe.

SERVING

4. Serve fruit wand to kids along with some cookies of their choice.

TIPS

Fruit wands can be assembled up to one day in advance. Lay out finished wands on a baking sheet, making sure to keep space between each wand. Layer parchment paper or plastic wrap between each layer of wands. Keep in the refrigerator overnight.

No need for waste! Remaining fruit from the cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes or strawberries can be used to make a beautiful fruit salad!
