Rainbow Fruit Kabobs

The idea is simple. Use fruit to make every color of the rainbow to make a kabob! Great after school healthy snack idea for kids.


Strawberries 1 Pint , hulled (red)
Oranges 2 Large , segmented (orange)
Pineapple chunks 1 Cup (16 tbs) (yellow)
Kiwis 3 Medium (green)
Blueberries 1 Cup (16 tbs) (blue)
Black grapes 1 Cup (16 tbs) (purple)
Chocolated 4 Ounce (Optional)



1. On seasoned wooden skewers, thread the fruit in rainbow order. Chill until ready to serve.

2. If using chocolate, in a microwave safe bowl add in the chocolate and place into the microwave for 30 seconds, take bowl out of microwave and stir. Repeat this process until chocolate has melted, about 90 seconds.


3. Serve the fruit kabobs with the melted chocolate as a dipping sauce if using or by themselves.
