In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Peach Flambe. This recipe features fresh peaches and a brown sugar sauce. It has a little brandy poured over the top and is flamed and then immediately served over vanilla ice cream.

Butter 1 Tablespoon
Cornstarch 1/2 Tablespoon
Light brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , firmly packed
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Fresh peaches 4 , peeled and sliced
Brandy 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (or any liquor that you like)
For serving
Vanilla ice cream scoops 200 Gram (as needed)

1. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt butter and add cornstarch. Stir rapidly over low heat until thick and bubbly.

2. Add brown sugar, water, and peach slices. Stir occasionally and cook for 10 minutes or until peaches are tender.

3. Pour brandy over the top of the hot peach mixture. Ignite with a lighter or a long fireplace match. Let the brandy flame until the alcohol is burned off.

4. Remove from heat, and spoon immediately over vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
