Betty demonstrates how to make Creamy Buttercream Frosting as an icing for Daffodil Cake, a traditional Southern dessert for Easter dinner. This is a beautiful and tasty frosting that you may use on any cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc.

Ingredients

Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , softened
Confectioner's sugar 4 1/3 Cup (69.33 tbs)
Cream/Milk 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING

1. In a mixing bowl, place confectioner's sugar, add butter, cream and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

SERVING

2. Frost the daffodil easter cake with the prepared frosting, decorate with coconut flakes and pineapple pieces.
