In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Rainbow Frosting to go on the Rainbow Birthday Cake in the previous video. The cake is a 4-layer cake, each layer having a different bright color and is intended for Betty and Rick's son-in-law, Chris, for his birthday. The frosting for this cake will use the same 4 colors as the cake layers.

Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Cornstarch 5 Tablespoon
Butter 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Vanilla extract 4 Teaspoon
Food coloring paste 1 Teaspoon (4 color, blue, green, yellow, and red as needed)

1. In a saucepan, mix milk with cornstarch and cook over medium-low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool.

2. In a bowl, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.

3. Pour cooled milk and cornstarch mixture into the bowl and beat again until fluffy.

4. Apportion frosting equally into 4 medium bowls. Now, use 4 separate gel paste food colors (same as cake) to color each apportionment.

5. Decorate rainbow cake with frosting as desired. Cut into slices, serve and enjoy!
