A quick and easy way to make home made frosting. Full of flavor. Save money and do it yourself.


Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Wonder flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt 1/4 Tsp.
Crisco 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (at room temperature)
Confectioner sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Blue food coloring 3 Drop



1. In a saucepan pour in the milk and place on stove on medium heat.

2. Add in the wonder flour and salt. Continuously whisk the mixture, until it gets thick.

3. Take off the saucepan from the stove and set aside to cool. Can be placed in freezer/refrigerator.

4. In a mixing bowl add in the Crisco, butter, confectioner sugar and vanilla extract. Mix for few minutes with stand mixer and stop the mixer. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl and whisk for few minutes again.

5. Pour in the milk mixture to the mixing bowl and mix. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

6. Mix again the mixture and add in blue food coloring, whisk on high speed.


7. Decorate the cupcakes and cakes with frosting and serve.
