How to Make Vanilla Butter Cream Frosting

Although this frosting is made with butter it does not have an overpowering taste of it. It is quite easy to make but requires a little patience. Use it on your favorite cakes and cup cakes. Enjoy!


Unsalted butter 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) , softened (3 sticks)
Confectioners sugar 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon



1. In a bowl, put the butter and using electric beater, bet it till creamy. Takes about 3 minutes.

2. Add the sugar slowly ½ cup at a time and beat for 1 minute after each addition.Scrape the sides of the bowl occasionally to combine everything evenly.

3. Once the sugar and butter is well combined, add the vanilla extract and continue to mix till incorporated.


4. Use this frosting to frost cakes, cup cakes or any other desserts or store it in an air tight container for around 10 days in the refirgerator.
