Betty's Orange Cream Cheese Frosting- Halloween

Betty demonstrates how to make Orange Cream Cheese Frosting. This frosting is made to go on the Orange Chocolate Cupcakes for Halloween. This frosting has a delicious tangy orange taste blended with flavorful cream cheese. Grandson Carter helps frost the cupcakes.


Cream cheese 8 Ounce , softened
Butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , softened
Confectioners sugar 16 Ounce
Orange extract 2 Teaspoon
Yellow food coloring 4 Drop ((as needed))
Red food color 2 Drop ((as needed))



1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and butter. Beat until creamy.

2. Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

3. Stir in orange extract and drops of yellow and red food color (to achieve an appropriate shade of orange).



4. Spread as desired on orange chocolate cupcake or any other cake. Decorate with sprinkles, serve and enjoy!
