Betty's Fabulous French Toast

Betty demonstrates how to make French Toast for your Easter brunch.


Egg yolks 2 , beaten
White granulated sugar 1 Tablespoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Milk 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Egg whites 2 , beaten until stiff peaks form
Hearty white bread slice/Whole wheat bread slices 4
Butter 1 1/2 Tablespoon



1. In a shallow mixing bowl, place the beaten egg yolks, add sugar, salt, milk, vanilla extract and stir until well incorporated. Add in the egg whites and lightly stir to mix.

2. In a griddle, heat butter, coat the bread slices with the batter and place on the griddle, cook from both sides.


3. Top with butter and drizzle with honey, serve steaming cup of coffee.
