How can you go wrong with breakfast on the grill? Today I am making Strawberry Stuffed French toast with a delicious mixed berry cream cheese, fresh strawberries and my favorite Lagrima Vanilla Extract. All cooked on the Island Grillstone!

Ingredients

Whipped cream cheese 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (mixed berry flavor used)
Ground cinnamon 1 Tablespoon
Sliced strawberries 1 Cup (16 tbs) , thick cut
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Half and half 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Eggs 3
Sliced bread 4 (texas toast used)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the grill.

2. In a bowl, combine the strawberries with about a tablespoon of sugar and mix well. Allow to stand for a couple of minutes.

MAKING

3. In a bowl, combine the eggs and half and half, add the vanilla extract and cinnamon. Mix using a fork and blend well.

4. Place the bread slices on a flat surface and apply mixed berry cream cheese on one side of each slice. Arrange the strawberries and apply some more cream cheese to keep them in place.

5. Form a sandwich by combining two prepared slices and then dip them in the prepared egg batter as shown in the video. Carefully flip to coat on the other side.

6. Repeat with the other two slices as well.

7. Place the prepared toasts on the grill and allow to cook at 350 degrees F for a couple of minutes. Flip and cook on the other side as well.

SERVING

8. Transfer to a serving dish and serve drizzled with some maple syrup and sprinkled with some powdered sugar.
