Beans au Gratin

Ingredients

Broad beans 1/2 Can (5 oz) (1 Medium Can)
Onion sauce mix 1 (1 Packet)
Milk 1/4 Pint
Grated cheese 2 Ounce

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Preheat the grill.

MAKING

2) In a pan, heat the broad beans in their own liquor; drain thoroughly.

3) In a saucepan, prepare the onion sauce with 4 tablespoons bean liquor and 1/4 pint milk as per the package directions.

4) Blend thoroughly and cook the onion sauce for 1 minute.

5) Stir the beans into the onion sauce and heat thoroughly.

6) In a heatproof dish, transfer the beans mixture and sprinkle evenly with grated cheese.

7) Place under a hot grill until the cheese is browned.

SERVING

8) Serve the Beans au Gratin immediately.
