How to Make Apple Pie (French Apple Pie)

Ingredients

For the pumkin pie
Canned pumpkin puree 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Bisquick mix 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Evaporated milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon , softened
Pumpkin pie spice 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Eggs 2
Cooking spray 1 Dash
For serving
Whipped cream 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (Optional)
For the filling
Apples 3 Cup (48 tbs) , peeled, sliced
Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
Ground nutmeg 1/4 Teaspoon
Granulated sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
For the streusal topping
Chopped nuts 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Brown sugar (packed) 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Firm butter/Firm margarine 2 Tablespoon

Directions

For The Pumpkin Pie

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Grease a 9 inch pie pan with cooking spray. Set aside.

MAKING

3. In a bowl add bisquick mix, canned pumpkin, sugar, evaporated milk, butter, eggs, vanilla and pumpkin pie spices. Mix well to form a batter.

4. Pour it into the prepared pie pan. Bake it for around 40 minutes or till the pie is done.

5. Remove from oven and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.

SERVING

6. In a serving plate serve the pie with ice cream or whipped cream.

For The French Apple Pie

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

2. Grease a 9 inch pie pan with cooking spray. Set aside.

3. In a bowl mix apples, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour it into the greased pie pan spread evenly and set aside.

MAKING

4. In another bowl, add bisquick mix, sugar, milk, eggs and butter. Mix well till combined and smooth. Pour this over the apples in the pie pan.

5. In yet another bowl, add bisquick mix, butter, brown sugar and chopped nuts. Mix well till it turns crumbly. Sprinkle it evenly over the apple filling to cover it completely.

6. Bake it for around 50 minutes or till the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

SERVING

7. In a serving plate, serve the pie warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
