Gratin of Oysters and Spinach

Chopped green onion 1 Tablespoon
Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
Frozen condensed oyster stew 10 Ounce (1 Can)
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Water 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Canadian bacon 8 Ounce , thinly sliced
Frozen spinach 20 Ounce , cooked and well drained (2 Packages, 10 Ounces Each)
Swiss cheese slice 2



1. In a large pan, heat the butter till it melts

2. Add the green onion to the pan and sauté on gentle heat

3. Add the soup and water to the pan and heat on gentle heat till it is thawed.

4. Blend the flour and the water to make a thick paste and add to the hot soup. Cook this till the soup thickens.

5. In a large shallow baking dish, broil the bacon.

6. Top the bacon with the spinach and pour the sauce on top of it. Sprinkle cheese on top.

7. Broil the pan again till the cheese melts completely


8. Serve hot
