Sweet Potato Gratin is a twist on the classic baked side dish. Sweet Potato is peeled and thinly sliced, then mixed with olive oil, garlic, chilli and cream. Baked until golden, this dish is perfect for serving with any meat, or with a side salad as a vegetarian main - give it a go!
Sweet potato | 1 Kilogram , peeled and thinly sliced | |
Crushed garlic | 3 Clove (15 gm) | |
Dried chilli flakes | 1 Teaspoon | |
Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon , divided | |
Whipping cream/Cream | 300 Milliliter | |
Cooking spray | 1 |
GETTING READY:
Preheat oven to 375°F/ 190°C.
Grease casserole dish with cooking spray.
MAKING:
In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes, garlic, chili flakes, olive oil, salt, pepper and toss well.
Arrange sweet potatoes into casserole dish as shown in the video.
Pour cream over it and drizzle olive oil on the top.
Pop into oven and bake for 1 hour.
