Learn how to make homemade french onion dip. This creamy dip is almost fat-free. It's made from yogurt!
|Minced red onion/Shallot /yellow onion||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm) , minced|
|Dried tarragon||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Sherry vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
|Plain greek yogurt||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fresh minced parsley||1 Tablespoon|
1.In a saucepan, heat oil, butter and sauté onions in it.
2.Add a pinch of sugar, salt and stir well. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
3.Add garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds or until softened.
4.Add tarragon, thyme, rosemary, vinegar and mix well.
5.Cook until evaporated and remove from heat.
6.Add yogurt, salt, pepper, parsley and stir well.
7.Store in refrigerator until serving.
8.Serve and enjoy!
