How to Make French Toast

Impress your family and friends with this unique french toast recipe. The warmth of the cinnamon custard is comforting enough but with the added crunch on the outside will make this like no other french toast youve tasted before.

Ingredients

Challah bread loaf 1 (sliced in 1 inch slices)
Eggs 8
Milk/Half and half 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Ground cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
Honey bunches of oats with almonds cereal 3 Cup (48 tbs) , crush

Directions

Getting Ready

Preheat a griddle to medium-high heat, also preheat the oven to 300˚F.

Making

In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon and salt.

In another large bowl, crush Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, using hands. 

Take 1 slice of bread at a time and dip into the egg custard and then dip into the crush cereal. 

Place each slice onto the pre greased griddle. Repeat the process with all the slices of bread. 

Cook on the griddle for 2 minutes per side then place into the preheated oven for an additional 10 minutes. 

Serving

Serve with a dollop of cheese cream and fresh berries.
