Betty demonstrates how to make Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Truffles. This candy is made from Nutter Butter cookies and cream cheese. It is coated with a vanilla candy coating and a semisweet chocolate drizzle.

Peanut butter cookies 16 Ounce (1 Package from Nutter Butter or cookies of your choice)
Softened cream cheese/Neufchatel cheese 8 Ounce (1 Package)
Vanilla candy coating/White chocolate almond bark 24 Ounce
Semisweet chocolate chips 1 Cup (16 tbs) (optional)

Using a food processor, crush the peanut butter cookies into fine bits.

Add cream cheese to the crushed cookies and process until well combined.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a pan lined with waxed paper.

Chill for about 1 hour.

Place vanilla candy coating in a bowl and cover it with a plastic wrap. Then, microwave for about 2 ½ minutes at 50% power.

Dip balls into melted coating and place on waxed paper.

Place dipped balls in refrigerator to set up quickly.

Once the coating is set, melt semisweet chocolate in microwave for 2 minutes at 50% power.

Put the melted chocolate in a zipper bag, make one small cut at the bottom corner and  drizzle over the top of each ball.

Refrigerate to set up completely.

Transfer the peanut butter truffles to a serving dish or put them in a container to use later.
