A delicious classic, this chicken cordon bleu is made by rolling chicken with ham and Swiss cheese. Then I put my own BBQ twist on this chicken recipe by smoking it with apple wood on the Weber grill.

Ingredients

Skinless chicken breast 1 , slice it in half width wise
Ham slice 1
Swiss cheese slices 2
Bacon piece 2
Barbeque rub To Taste (Sprinkle generously)

Directions

MAKING

Slice the chicken breast into 2 halves widthwise. Use a meat tenderizer to flatten it up.

Place a ham slice on it followed by swiss cheese.

Roll the layered chicken. Wrap it with thin bacon pieces. Trim the sides to make it neat.

Sprinkle with a basic barbeque rub.

Get the grill ready at 225-250 degrees. Grill it for an hour or hour and half.

SERVING

Rest the chicken for 10 minutes, Plate up and serve hot with barbeque sauce.
