Grilled Salmon/Trout

Perfect, delicious and easy way to make salmon or trout with the most spectacular crispy skin.


Salmon fillets/Trout fillets 2
Garlic cloves 2 Large
Lemon juice 4 Teaspoon (lime or tarragon infused white wine vinegar)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Avocado oil 2 Tablespoon
For garnish
Fennel leaves 1 Tablespoon (as needed)



1. On a parchment lined baking tray, place fish fillet skin side down, grate garlic on top and coat well.

2. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Drizzle vinegar/lime/ lemon juice on top.

3. Place the fish skin side up and pat dry the skin. Season the side with salt and pepper and cover with oil. Coat well.

4. Pop in oven and grill for 10-15 minutes or until done to desired doneness. You can remove the skin and grill further for crispier skin.


5. Garnish with fennel and serve hot.
