Stir Fried Ginger Beef

For marinade
Rice vinegar 5 Teaspoon
Soy sauce 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Minced ginger 1 Tablespoon
Honey 2 Tablespoon
Cayenne pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Other ingredients
Beef tenderloin 2 Pound , sliced
Cold water 3 Tablespoon
Ground cumin 1 Teaspoon
Cornstarch 4 Teaspoon
Chopped scallions 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Minced garlic 2 Teaspoon
Sesame oil 2 Teaspoon
Salt and pepper To Taste
Cooking oil 3 Tablespoon



1.In a bowl, combining vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, honey, and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well.

2.Add in the beef slices in the bowl with marinade and coat well. Cover the bowl with a saran wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

3.Remove the beef from the fridge and wait until it reaches room temperature.

4.In a small bowl, mix together corn starch and water and set aside.


5.In a wok, heat the oil and gradually add in the beef slices in small batches and stir fry for 2 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.

6.Using the remaining cooking oil in the pan, sauté the garlic, remaining ginger, and scallions for 40 to 60 seconds.

7.Add the beef back in the wok and pour-in the sesame oil. Season with cumin, salt and pepper.

8.Pour in the corn-starch diluted in water. Continue to stir fry for 1 minute.


9.Serve stir fried beef with steamed rice.
