Sipo Eggs

Sipo Eggs is a rich and delicious Filipino dish composed of boiled quail eggs, shrimp, ham, carrot, and green peas. This is a quick and easy to prepare dish served during special occasions.

Ingredients

Large shrimp 1 Pound , large shrimp
Quail eggs 20 , boiled
Yellow onion 1 Small , minced
Minced garlic 1 Teaspoon
Butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
Frozen green peas 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Carrot 1 , diced
Water 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Minced ham 4 Ounce

Directions

MAKING

In a cooking pan, melt butter. Add oil, allow to heat, add shrim and sauté for about s minute per side. Transfer to another dish.

In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic. Add carrot and green peas. Add in the ham and cook for about 3 minutes.

Pour in water and allow boiling, cooking for about a minute.

Add eggs and shrimp, stir to mix.

Pour in the cream of mushroom and table cream. Stir once more until the ingredients are well distributed.

Add water chestnuts, season with salt and pepper.

SERVING

Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy.
