The apricot and apple butter is prepared with dried apricots and chopped apples. Flavored with apple juice and spiced with cinnamon, the apricot and apple butter is sweetened with sugar and can be used as a dessert filling or spread.
|Dried apricots||1 Kilogram|
|Apples||4 Large , peeled cored and chopped|
|Apple juice||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Icing sugar||2 Tablespoon|
Combine all ingredients in a 2-litre casserole dish.
Cover and cook for 18-20 minutes on HIGH, stirring every 5 minutes.
Puree fruit mixture until smooth.
Pour into hot sterilised jars.
Store in the refrigerator.
Use as a fruit pie filling or spread.
