Spiced Apple Butter

Ingredients

Tart cooking apples 5 Pound , quartered (Peeled, Cored About 12 Cups)
Apple cider 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Sugar 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
Ground cinnamon 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon

Directions

In large saucepan bring apples and cider to boiling reduce heat.

Simmer, covered, 20 to 25 minutes or till apples are tender.

Place steel blade in work bowl add 2 cups of the apples.

Process till smooth transfer to 13x9x2-inch bak-ng dish.

Repeat with remaining apples, processing 2 cups at a time.

Stir sugar, cinnamon, and cloves into apples.

Bake in 300° oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or till thick when spooned stir every half hour to prevent edges from overcooking.

Fill jars and process.
