Salted Caramel Brandy Butter is a new twist on a traditional Christmas classic. Butter is combined with a delicious salted caramel mixture and brandy. Beaten until smooth and whipped, serve chilled with a variety of Christmas items such as fruit cake, pudding, mince pies and more - give it a go!
Butter | 350 Gram | |
Brandy | 1 1/2 Tablespoon (optional) | |
Castor sugar | 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Super Fine White Sugar) | |
Brown sugar | 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
Golden syrup/Maple syrup | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
Whipping cream | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) |
MAKING:
In a saucepan, combine 100g of butter, castor sugar, brown sugar, golden syrup and stir over low heat until smooth.
Add salt, whipping cream and stir for 1 minute.
In an electric mixer, combine remaining butter and beat until light and fluffy.
Add salted caramel mixture and mix well.
Add brandy and mix well.
Place into dish and cover with cling wrap.
Refrigerate until serving.
