Betty's Raspberry Fool Dessert

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make a Charming Raspberry Fool Dessert. This is a blend of fresh raspberries and whipped cream it's beautiful and luscious!


Fresh raspberries 2 Cup (32 tbs) , washed and patted dry
Sugar 1 Tablespoon (or to taste)
For cream mixture
Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
For serving
Fresh raspberries 12 (as needed)



1. Pop a mixing bowl in refrigerator to chill.

2. In a large bowl, combine raspberries with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Toss gently and set aside for 10 minutes.

3. In a blender, puree 1 cup of the raspberry/sugar mixture and return it back to the bowl of with remaining sugared raspberries. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for about 2 hours or until cold.


For Cream Mixture:

4. In chilled mixing bowl, combine whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until stiff peaks form.

5. Use a spatula to gently fold the chilled raspberry mixture into the whipped cream. Do not over mix.


6. Into small dessert glasses, spoon the raspberry/whipped cream mixture, top each serving with 2 or 3 fresh raspberries. Serve and enjoy!


You can also serve with cookies.
