Walnut Strudel

Ingredients

Chopped walnuts 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Chopped apples 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
Grated lemon rind 3 Tablespoon
Strudel dough 1 (Ready to use)

Directions

MAKING

1 Lightly oil the dough.

2 Evenly spread the nuts on half the oiled dough.

3 Cover with the apples.

4 In a bowl, combine the sugar with the cinnamon and lemon rind.

5 Sprinkle over the apples.

6 Carefully roll up in a jelly roll fashion.

7 Lightly brush with oil or melted butter.

8 Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degree F

SERVING

11 Cut into 1-inch slices while hot and use as desired.
