Meringue Topped Pineapple

Pineapple 2 3/4 Pound (1 Small Sized)
Kirsch 3 Tablespoon
Egg whites 2
Sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)



1)Remove core of pineapple, when cutting it into half, lengthwise.

2)Cut pineapple pulp into cubes.

3)Throughly shake pineapple cubes with kirsch and spoon into pineapple shells, chill it.

4)Further beat egg whites till soft.

5)Keep adding sugar one tablespoon at a time to the mixture, beating until stiff peaks form.

6)Spread meringue over fruit on the edges of the shells.


7)Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes or until the meringue is golden brown.


8)Serve it warm.

9)Each serving is about 172 calories per serving.
