Ingredients

Chuck 1 Pound , ground
Mushrooms/1 can, mushrooms, drained 1/2 Pound , sliced
Onions 2 Small , chopped
Butter 3 Tablespoon
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Beef consomme 1 Can (10 oz)
Tomato paste/Catsup 1 Tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon
Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Paprika To Taste

Directions

MAKING

1. In a pan heat butter and saute meat, onions and mushrooms.

2. Drain excess fat.

3. Sprinkle with flour, stir lightly, add consomme and stir until smooth and slightly thickened.

4. Add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, simmer and stir for 10 minutes.

5. Just before serving stir in sour cream without letting it to boil.

SERVING

6. Sprinkle with paprika and serve over noodles, rice or toasted English muffins.
