Mixed Cheese Welsh Rarebit

Beer 12 Ounce (1 Can)
Dry mustard 1 Tablespoon
Mustard 1 Tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon (White Or Black)
Black pepper 1/8 Teaspoon
American cheese 1 Pound , cubed
Sharp cheddar cheese 1 Pound , cubed
English muffins/Toast 2
Bacon 5 , cooked until crisp
Tomato slices 1 Cup (16 tbs)



1. In slow cooker, combine beer, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper and cook with cover on High for 1-2 hours such that mixture boils.

2. Taking a little at a time add cheese, stirring constantly such that all the cheese melts.

3. With cover off, heat on High 20-30 minutes, stirring frequently.

4. Spread hot over toasted English muffins or over toasted bread cut into triangles.


5. To serve garnish with strips of crisp bacon and tomato slices.
