Fresh chopped basil | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Chopped shallots | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Grated lime zest | 1 Tablespoon | |
Lime juice | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Garlic | 4 Clove (20 gm) , minced | |
Chopped fresh thyme | 1 Tablespoon | |
Kosher salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | 1 Tablespoon , freshly ground | |
Extra virgin olive oil | 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) ((1 bottle, such as Guinness)) | |
Stout beer | 12 Ounce |
MAKING:
In a bowl, combine basil, shallots, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, olive oil, beer and whisk well.
Pour into zip lock bag and place steak in to it.
Allow to marinate overnight in refrigerator.
Cook as desired.
