Dutch Baby Pancake

An oven-baked pancake that is really more like a giant popover.

Ingredients

Milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Eggs 2
Lemon zest 1 Teaspoon
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
All purpose flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Powdered sugar 1 Tablespoon
Lemon wedges 2
Jam/Fruit 1 Tablespoon (optional, for serving on top)

Directions

GETTING READY:

1.Preheat oven to 425F.

MAKING:

2.In a bowl, whisk together milk, egg, zest and salt until smooth.

3.Add flour and whisk well.

4.In a skillet, melt butter and pour batter into it.

5.Pop into oven and bake for 20 minutes.

6.Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and garnish with lemon wedges.

SERVING:

7.Serve with jam and enjoy!
