Brown Sugar Caramel Pound Cake MAKE IT!!

I really don't even have the words to explain how divine this brown sugar caramel pound cake it. SMH! Just picture a fluffy, moist, dense pound cake with the taste of vanilla, buttery caramel, and hits of salty sweet toffee. Finish off with one of the best and easiest caramel glazes I've ever had. Yeah. It's one of THOSE pound cakes.


Butter flavored shortening
Softened butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Light brown sugar (packed) 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Eggs 5 (room temperature)
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs) , sifted
Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Buttermilk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Heavy whipping cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Toffee bits 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (plus more for garnish)
For caramel frosting
Sweetened condensed milk can 14 Ounce
Light brown sugar (packed) 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
