How To Make A Trifle

Raspberry trifle recipe for your Christmas (or anytime) dessert! A trifle is a super easy dessert that is more delicious than anyone will suspect!

Ingredients

Frozen pound cake 10 Ounce , thawed, cut into slices about ⅓” thick crosswise (1 no)
Sweet sherry/Brandy 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Prepared custard/Pudding 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Jam 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sliced berries 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Heavy cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , whipped to stiff peaks
Sliced almonds 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)

Directions

MAKING:

Cover the bottom of dish with pound cake slices. Ensure to cover the bottom completely.

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brandy over it.

Spread 1 cup of custard evenly over the cake. Place dollops of jam over it and place berries.

Repeat layering in same order: Cake, brandy, custard, jam and berries.

Cover the top with whipped cream and sprinkle almonds over it.

Pop into refrigerator and allow to set for an hour.

 

SERVING:

Serve and enjoy!
