Garlic Flavored Cheese Enchiladas

For filling
Canned chopped green chiles 4 Ounce (1 Can)
Grated sharp cheddar cheese 8 Ounce (2 Cups)
Cream style cottage cheese
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , crushed
Ground coriander 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
For enchiladas
Corn tortillas 11 Ounce , refrigerated (1 Dozen, 1 Package)
Tomato sauce 8 Ounce (1 Can)
Sour cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chopped green chilies 2 Tablespoon
Grated sharp cheddar cheese 2 Ounce (1/2 Cup)
Salad oil 1 Tablespoon



1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

2. In a bowl, place together chilles, both the cheeses, garlic, coriander and salt mix well to make 3 1/2 cups.


For Enchiladas:

3) In a pan, heat oil upto 1/2 inch of oil and fry tortillas a few seconds on each side.

4) Remove using a perforated ladle and place on paper towels.

5) Place 2 rounded tablespoons of filling on each tortilla.

6) Roll the tortillas and place, scam side down, in 13-by-9-by-2-inch baking dish.

7) Mix together tomato sauce, sour cream and green chiles; spoon over enchiladas.

8) Dredge 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese in a row over center of enchiladas.

9) Bake in the oven uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes or until sauce bubbles and cheese melts.


10) Serve hot garnished with chopped scallions if desired.
