If you are a Reese's peanut butter cup lover, you will love these homemade chocolate peanut butter eggs- they are perfect to give your friends and family on Easter.
Unsalted butter | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , melted | |
Peanut butter | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Confectioners’ sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Plain cookies | 1 Cup (16 tbs) ((graham crackers or digestive biscuits)) | |
Chocolate | 250 Gram ((of your choice, I use a combination of milk and dark)) | |
Vegetable oil/Canola oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Sprinkles | 1 Tablespoon ((for topping)) |
GETTING READY:
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
MAKING:
Using a food processor, grind the cookies.
In a bowl, combine melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, salt and whisk well.
Add cookie crumbs and mix well as shown in the video.
Shape the mixture into eggs and place in a baking tray. Pop into freezer for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate and add oil to it. Blend well and set aside.
Plunge the peanut butter eggs into chocolate mixture to coat well and drip off excess chocolate mixture.
Place on baking tray and decorate with sprinkles.
