Steps to Clean Cheese with Mold Patches

Run fresh cool water over it.

Wipe off the mold with a soft brush or cloth.

Clean until the entire mold patch is washed and scrubbed off.

Place cheese slab on towels and dry.

Smear cheese with olive oil.

Wrap in cling film and store in airtight container.

Do not use warm water to wash cheese since it would melt the cheese and make a mess.

Wash only firm and hard cheese with water.
