Today we're going to do a cocktail recipe from 1934 called the Eclipse Number Two Cocktail and it is rum, chartreuse, and lemon juice. The recipe is a little ambiguous, it calls for a light Cuban rum or just a brown rum so today I'm going to use Havana Club and this Angostura 1919 Rum.
Light cuban rum | 1 1/3 Ounce | |
Green chartreuse | 2/3 Ounce | |
Lemon juice | 2/3 Ounce |
MAKING:
1. Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
2. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
