1937 Amber Dream Cocktail 2 Ways Chartreuse Gin
Welcome Friends! Welcome back to Cocktails After Dark where I am exploring different cocktail recipes through the ages and trying to find out which ones work for me and maybe this will help you find out which ones work for you as well. Today we're going to do something from 1937 called The Amber Dream Cocktail, and the reason I wanted to do this is because it has chartreuse liqueur in it.
Dry gin | 1 Ounce | |
Red vermouth | 1/2 Ounce | |
Green chartreuse | 1/2 Ounce | |
Orange bitters | 3 Dash | |
Ice cubes | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
MAKING:
1. Shake all the ingredients with ice, and double strain into a cocktail or Nick and Nora glass.
SERVING:
2. Serve and enjoy!
