Let the sweet bees buzzzzzz your stomach with special Honey Tea Time Cake!
|Refined oil||1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Flour||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla essence||3 Drop|
|Curd||3/4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Pinch|
|Baking powder||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Honey||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Honey||To Taste ((as required))|
|Sugar||To Taste ((as required))|
|Lemon juice||To Taste ((as required))|
|Water||To Taste ((as required))|
1.Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
2.In a bowl add egg and whisk it.
3.Next add refined oil and sugar little by little and keep whisking till emulsified.
4.Once everything is mixed well, add vanilla essence and curd.
5.Mix this till it turns creamy.
6.Sieve in flour, baking powder and baking soda.
7.Add in honey and mix again.
8.Line the cake tin with butter and flour, tip of the excess.
9.Then pour the cake mix in the tin.
10.Put it in the oven and let it bake for 30-40 minutes.
11.In a pan mix honey, sugar, lemon juice and water.
12.Stir till the sugar melts and caramelises to a golden colour.
13.Pour the glaze over the cake
14.Serve with tea.
