I LOVE a good pear cocktail, and this might be the best yet! Making this spiced simple syrup really elevates this cocktail to the next level. It's the perfect festive holiday cocktail. Cheers!
|For spiced simple syrup:|
|Sugar||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whole cloves||1 Tablespoon|
|Fresh rosemary sprig||2|
|Lemon||1/4 , sliced|
|Fresh rosemary sprig||1/2 (plus extra for garnish)|
|Spiced simple syrup||1 Ounce|
|Club soda||2 Ounce|
|Ice cubes||3 (optional)|
In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, rosemary, clove and stir until sugar dissolves over medium heat.
Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
In a cocktail shaker, muddle, pear, lemon slices and rosemary.
Add gin, simple syrup, ice cubes and shake well.
Strain into serving glass, top with club soda ad garnish with rosemary sprig.
Serve and enjoy!
