We made the popular basil green goddess dressing lighter by substituting some of the ingredients, and it's still FRESH and DELICIOUS. It's especially good atop butter lettuce with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and other veggies. This yummy dressing is also great as a dip, that's a healthier alternative to rich ranch dressings.

Light sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Light mayonnaise 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Lemon juice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
Anchovy paste 2 Teaspoon
Salt 2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1 Teaspoon
Basil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Green onions 1 Cup (16 tbs) , chop

1. In the blendtec place the sour cream, light mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, anchovy paste, salt, pepper basil and green onions.

2. Press the manual button on the blendtec to speed 4.

3. Blend for 20 sec or until smooth to desired consistency.

4. Serve with fresh salad.

If using a vitamix start off with speed 1 and slowly increase to speed 10 and then flip to high. Blend for 20-30 seconds or until smooth.
