Curly Endive with Chili Cumin Dressing

Red wine vinegar 1 Tablespoon
Salad oil 3 Tablespoon
Garlic 1/2 Clove (2.5 gm) (Small Clove)
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground cumin 1/8 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
Curly endive 1/4 Pound



1) Wash the curly endive and soak the excess water with paper towels.


2) In a large bowl, place the curly endive.

3) In another small bowl, whisk oil and vinegar, together.

4) Press the garlic into the mixture.

5) Add remaining seasoning ingredients and whisk thoroughly.

6) Pour the dressing over salad and toss, just before serving.


7) Pass extra dressing on side, while serving the salad, if desired.
