Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix

Lynn demonstrates how to make your own Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix. This is something you can make and keep on hand when you need it for dressing, dips or to add to a recipe. It keeps in the refrigerator for 3-4 months or the freezer for 6-8 months. 3 Tablespoons of the mix equals 1 packet of the store bought kind. It makes about 1 cup of the mix. Dry buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Dried parsley 2 1/2 Tablespoon , divided
Dried dill 2 Teaspoon , divided
Garlic powder 2 1/2 Teaspoon
Onion powder 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Dried onion flakes 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Kosher salt 2 1/4 Teaspoon
Sugar 3/4 Teaspoon
Ground black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Paprika 1/2 Teaspoon
Cayenne pepper 1/4 Teaspoon




In a food processor or blender combine dried buttermilk, 2 tablespoons parsley, 1 teaspoon of dill, garlic powder, onion powder, onion flakes, kosher salt, sugar, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper and process until well blended.

Transfer to a container and mix remaining parsley and dill. Whisk well to combine.
