Baked Nutella Doughnuts with Nutella Glaze

Lynn demonstrates how to make Baked Nutella Doughnuts. These are great for breakfast or a snack. Adapted from crazyadventuresinparenting and cookingclassy.


For doughnuts
All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Nutella 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Eggs 2
Melted butter 8 Teaspoon
Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
Nonstick cooking spray 2 Dash
For glaze
Confectioners sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Nutella 2 1/2 Tablespoon
Milk 6 Teaspoon (4
Vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Toasted hazelnuts 1 Tablespoon , chopped



Preheat oven to 325°. Spray doughnut pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.



In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt.

In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, egg, butter, Nutella and vanilla until smooth.

Whisk together the flour mixture and milk mixture.

In a Ziploc bag, place the mixture. Push mixture to a corner and snip off the corner.

Pipe the doughnut mixture into the prepared doughnut pan.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until doughnuts spring back when pressed.

Meanwhile, prepare the glaze – In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, Nutella, milk and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.

Take out the doughnut and flip onto a baking rack to cool.



Dip each doughnut into the glaze and place back on the cooling rack. Top with hazelnuts.



Serve the doughnuts with some warm milk.
