You can make a delicious pie crust by using this short dough recipe. This is one of my favorite recipes that I learned while in culinary school. it wasn't until I used this recipe that I could make pie crust.
Flour | 250 Gram | |
Salt | 5 Gram | |
Butter | 125 Gram | |
Egg yolk | 1 | |
Water | 50 Milliliter |
MAKING:
Sift together flour and salt on working counter.
Make a well in it and place butter as shown in the video.
Add egg, water and mix gently using hands.
Fold in flour using scrapper until completely incorporated.
Wrap in cling wrap until making pie.
SERVING:
Make pie or quiche as desired and enjoy!
