Sago China Grass - Agar Agar Dessert

China grass or Agar Agar Sago pearls come together to make this cool and stunning dessert.


China grass 50 Gram
Tapioca pearls 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Coconut milk 400 Milliliter
Milk 600 Milliliter
Sugar 7 Tablespoon
Coconut water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Silver candy balls To Taste (Optional)



1. Soak the china grass in some water for 10 mins

2. Boil in some water till dissolved

3. Boil the Sago pearls for about 5 mins, drain and flush with cold water

4. Heat the coconut milk and regular milk

5. Add the sugar

6. Add the dissolved china grass, reserving about 1/4 cup

7. Add 1/2 or the Sago pearls and pour into serving dish

8. Cool down and set in the fridge for at least an hour

9. Reheat the reserved china grass and add the coconut water and allow to dissolve

10. Add the rest of the sago

11. Cool and gently pour over the set custard and allow to set overnight


12. Serve and Enjoy!
