Seafood Spring Onions are added to a batter and then cooked to make these delicious Seafood pancakes served with a stunning dipping sauce. A popular recipe in Korea, the Pajeon or pancake can also be made vegetarian with spring onions, or packed with seafood!

Potato starch | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |

Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Egg | 1 | |
Fish sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
Sesame oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Gochujara | 1 Tablespoon | |
Sliced red chillies | 2 Tablespoon | |
Julienne of spring onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Asian dipping sauce: | ||
Fish sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
Light soya | 2 Tablespoon | |
Sesame oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Mirin | 1 Tablespoon | |
Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
Gochijara | 1 Tablespoon | |
Spring onion | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |

MAKING:
1. Cut the seafood into small pieces, reserving some bigger pieces for garnish
2. Marinate with the fish sauce, pepper and gochugaru
3. Make the batter with the flour, potato starch, water, baking powder, egg, fish sauce, sesame oil and Gochujara and mix
4. Add red chilli and spring onion and the seafood
5. Make dipping sauce by combining all the dipping sauce ingredients together
6. To make the pancakes, heat some oil and ladle in the pancake batter in a thin layer - add the reserved seafood, red chillies and spring onion and flip
