Paneer Masala is an Indian dish of marinated paneer (Cottage Cheese) served in a spiced gravy. It is a vegetarian alternative to the Chicken Masala. This paneer Masala is popular across dhaba's in India, unlike restaurant style, this one is made without Cashew Paste. Strong spices make this Paneer Gravy great sabzi to eat with Tandoori Roti or Paratha.


Marinate paneer:
Yogurt 3 Tablespoon
Garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Lemon 1/2
Paneer 500 Gram , cut into cubes
Make gravy:
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Bay leaf 1 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Green chillies 4
Red chillies 4
Onions 3
Salt To Taste
Garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon
Tomatoes 3
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1 Teaspoon
Coriander seeds powder 1 Teaspoon
Cumin seeds powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Black pepper powder 1/5 Teaspoon
Bengal gram flour 1 Tablespoon
Water 500 Milliliter
Sugar 1 Teaspoon
To grill paneer:
Oil 1 Tablespoon
To give smoky flavour:
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Coal piece 1
Ghee 1 Tablespoon
Other ingredients:
Fresh cream To Taste
Dried fenugreek leaves powdered To Taste
Coriander leaves To Taste
