Yoghurt | 4 Tablespoon | |
Ghee | 3 Tablespoon | |
Cumin | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Bay leaf | 1 | |
Green cardamom | 2 | |
Black cardamom | 1 | |
Cloves | 3 | |
Turmeric | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Chilli powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Coriander powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Garam masala | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Kasuri methi | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Water | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Salt | To Taste |
MAKING:
1. Grind the onions, ginger and garlic together to a paste.
2. In a kadhai, heat ghee and add bay leaf, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, cumin seeds and ground paste.
3. After the ghee separates slightly, add tomato puree and cook again till ghee separates.
4. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and water.
5. Now add the mushrooms and mix well.
6. Simmer by covering the lid on low flame.
7. After the mushrooms have released some fluid add yoghurt, dry fenugreek and stir.
8. Cover again with a lid and cook.
9. Turn the flame off and sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
