Boneless chunks of meat are marinated twice and then prepped with onion and chillies for the grill.
For 1st marinade: | ||

Ginger garlic paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
Papaya cubes | 2 Tablespoon (make the paste out of it about 1 tbsp) | |
Fried onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
For 2nd marinade: | ||
Hung yogurt | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Mustard oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Green chilli paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
Garam masala | 1 Teaspoon | |
Turmeric powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Red chilli powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
For garnish: | ||
Sliced onions | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Green chillies | 4 | |
Lemon halves | 4 | |
Coriander leaves | 1 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY:
1. Marinate the meat cubes with the first marinade and leave for 30 mins.
2. Marinate the meat with the second marinade and leave for 1 – 2 hrs to overnight.
MAKING:
3. Grill the meat till cooked on all sides together with the onions, chillies and lemon halves.
SERVING:
4. Serve with some chopped coriander.
